How to use Hubbub

There are two main ways to use Hubbub: as an Author, and as a User.

Authors
Authors are partners of Hubbub who are generally putting on some kind of event or exhibition, such as the folks putting on WACK events. Since Hubbub is about discussion of the arts, out Authors are the people who start it off. This is done through the use of Editorials. The Editorials are articles written by our partener groups, or by someone associated with them. They may be a discussion of detailed aspects of the event, or general insights losely related to the subject at hand. The choice of subject is up to the Author, but Editorials are generally designed to be thought-provoking, and worthy of discussion. Once an Author has posted an Editorial, it is available online for the general public to read. It can also be commented on by our registered Users.

Users

By registering under the Login field on the left side of this page, you become a citizen of a unique community in Canada. Hubbub strives to be a focal point of serious, and not so serious, discussion of the arts in our country and the world, and our Users are the folks who keep that agenda alive. Once registered, a User is able to comment on any Event, Exibition, or Editorial listed on Hubbub.net. This is where the real fun happens. Does an Event pique your interest? Or does an Editorial inspire you to further the discussion? Then jump right in and post your comments. Hubbub.net works like many other blog-style websites, except that our discussion is focussed on specific events in the cultural community, or the issues that they raise.
