BUILT: a sheltering mirage ( excerpt) Poitras performance work is informed by the rigor and discipline of dance and the austere, formalist qualities of abstraction and visual art. This excerpt is from a work inspired by the work of her father architect Clifford Wiens whose retrospective exhibition curated by Trevor Boddy is currently at the Charles H. Scott Gallery. Also featured is a work from her honey work series. A Dancing on the Edge, New Dance Horizons and the Chapel Arts Centre co-presentation July 3 9:30pm |
