Ghosts
Twelve dancers, three bagpipers, and a drummer in a surreal return of the spirits of the different populations that worked and lived in the Powell Street neighbourhood. In signature Kokoro Dance style, the performers will mine the emotions buried in the physicality of their bodies manifesting them in evocative and provocative movement.
A 10 for 20 Dancing on the Edge Commission project with the support of the Powell Street Festival Society and the National Association of Japanese Canadian Endowment Fund.
